28th MDG updates Enterovirus Public Health Advisory

The 28th Medical Group Public Health office has updated its recent Public Health Advisory regarding cases of Enterovirus D68 infections in many states across the U.S. Enteroviruses are very common viruses that usually peak in late summer and early fall.

As of Sept. 30, there have been 10 confirmed cases of EV-D68 in South Dakota - all specimens were submitted by West River Hospitals. Please reference the full advisory for additional information on transmission and prevention, found here
