Ellsworth exceeds total coliform standard Published Oct. 7, 2014 By 28th Bomb Wing Public Affairs ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- The 28th Medical Operations Squadron Bioenvironmental Engineering Flight released a memorandum Oct. 7, stating that during routine water sampling, Ellsworth exceeded standard total coliform levels. A boil order has not been issued at this time. The 28th MDOS BE flight conducted follow-up testing Oct. 7, and will recieve results within 24 hours. Base officials are in the process of contacting those on Ellsworth's water distribution system, which includes: base personnel, residents of Antelope Ridge, the Box Elder U.S. Post Office and the staff and students at Vandenberg Elementary School.
