Tornado siren to sound on base May 14

The tornado sirens will be sounding on Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D. May 14 as part of a base exercise. Airmen and their families are expected to find shelter and take appropriate actions when the sirens sound.
 
All base residents are encouraged to review their preparedness plans to ensure everyone understands what steps to take if severe weather such as a tornado were to strike the base, including how to notify family members of their whereabouts.
