The 41st Air Force Assistance Fund campaign of "Airmen Helping Airmen" begins March 17 and will run through April 25.

During the campaign, Airmen can donate to the Air Force Aid Society, the Air Force Enlisted Village, the Air Force Village or the General and Mrs. Curtis E. LeMay Foundation.

"Our overall campaign goal this year for Ellsworth is approximately $58,000 in donations," said Capt. Matthew Hayes, 28th Civil Engineer Squadron chief of operations engineering, and AFAF project officer for the base. "We want to accomplish this by spreading the word so that more Airmen can contribute, not by asking more from our Airmen."

All charities give back to active-duty Airmen, veterans and their spouses and are not solicited through the Combined Federal Campaign.

For more information on how to donate or to find out the points of contact in each squadron, call Hayes at (605) 385-1035, or MSgt. Galen Scoble, 28th Maintenance Squadron production superintendent, at (605) 385-1352.
