Airman receives court-martial punishment Published July 22, 2013 28th Bomb Wing Legal Office ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- One Ellsworth Airman recently received a court-martial punishment for his actions. Airman 1st Class Anthony D. Eise, 28th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, pled guilty to one charge and two specifications of making a false official statement, one charge and one specification of operating a vehicle while drunk and one charge and one specification of assault consummated by battery, June 12. Punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of airman, hard labor without confinement for 30 days and confinement for 90 days. All members of the Armed Forces are subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice. The UCMJ lists a number of criminal offenses. A member who commits one of these offenses is subject to trial by court-martial. The rules and procedures for court-martial administration are governed by Air Force Instruction 51-201, "Administration of Military Justice."
