Approximately 70 children attended Vacation Bible School July 21-25, at Ellsworth Air Force Base.

Additionally, the Chaplain Corps partnered with volunteers from a youth group from Immanuel Christian Reformed Church from Orange City, Iowa.

“They performed incredibly, and the best thing about them was that they provided a foundation," said Maj. Ronald Feeser, the 28th Bomb Wing deputy wing chaplain. "[This] meant we were able to free the parents so they wouldn’t have to volunteer for the event.”

Throughout the week, the volunteers lead children through song and dance, crafts, cinema time, and outdoor activities.

Finally, the Vacation Bible School curriculum taught children from the ages 6 through 12 about how having faith can lessen the impact of fear and life changes.
