Have a creative or artistic idea but have no idea how to go about brining it to life? There is a shop on base dedicated to aiding Airmen in those efforts.

Whether it is making a shadow box or a custom picture frame, the 28th Force Support Arts and Crafts Center is available to help all members of Team Ellsworth express their creativity.

"Every project is a unique experience for me -- to be able to make something that someone will enjoy is a very rewarding experience," said Joe Altergott, 28th Force Support Squadron arts and crafts and marketing visual information specialist.

Altergott said several of the services offered by the Arts and Crafts Center include framing, matting, custom t-shirts, plaques, graphic design, large format printing, lamination, banners and more.

In addition, the center often creates awards such as engraved plates, plaques and trophies, and designs logos and posters for events and special occasions.

The Ellsworth Arts and Crafts center is located at 2750 George Dr., and open to active duty members, retirees, dependents and civilian employees. Customers may place orders during hours of operations, which are Monday through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

"Customers can bring or email us digital files to work with, or they can stop in to see what designs we have already on hand," Altergott said.

The center strives to meet customer satisfaction and produce quality products customers desire.

"We are eager to work with customers to produce the quality products they desire," Altergott said. "We are here to help people with any project from start to finish."
