“Boots to Business”, a multi-phased pilot program launched in the spring of 2012 by the U.S. Small Business Administration, helps to introduce transitioning servicemembers to the fundamentals of small business ownership. The SBA aims to ultimately provide entrepreneurship awareness and opt-in training nationwide to the 250,000 servicemembers from all branches of the military that enter the civilian work force each year.
