Health Effects of Alcohol

If people stick to the 0-1-3 guidelines, which are zero (0) alcohol-related incidents, having no more than one (1) drink per hour and having no more than three (3) drinks per day then drinking alcohol can be fine. Otherwise, excessive alcohol consumption can lead to cancer, heart disease, malnutrition, anemia, obesity, arthritis, liver disease, high blood pressure and even death.
