A photo technician operates his console in a RB-36 Peacemaker. The RB-36 was equipped with 14 cameras and other special equipment necessary in long-range high altitude reconnaissance, allowing an aircrew photographer to take high quality photos from an altitude of 30,000 feet altitude. After photos were taken by an RB-36 photographer, a photo technician could develop the film in flight using a small darkroom onboard. (U.S. Air Force courtesy photo)
