A wide array of activities, events, entertainment and free food were available for Airmen and their families during the 70th Anniversary Kick-Off Party event in the Pride Hangar on Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., May 18, 2012. Ellsworth celebrated its 70th Anniversary with a weekend of events that included the Kick-Off Party, a golf tournament, a Heritage Day event at the South Dakota Air and Space Museum, a formal celebration dinner, and a free band concert by the U.S. Air Force Heartland of America Band’s “Raptor”.
