Metals Technology
Airman 1st Class Justin Morris, 28th Maintenance Squadron metals technology apprentice, cuts a bushing out of an unserviceable B-1 bomber bell crank housing and replaces it in the metals technology shop at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., May 2, 2012. The replacement part started as a block of metal approximately 2 inches wide, 6 inches long and 4 inches in depth, which was subsequently crafted into a new serviceable bell crank housing for a B-1 bomber.
