The 70th Anniversary of Ellsworth planning committee met on Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., Nov. 3, 2011 to provide updates on events planned for May 2012. The main event is scheduled for the weekend of May 19, 2012, and will consist of a variety of activities including performance by the Air Combat Command Heartland band and a speech from the Chief of Staff of the Air Force Gen.
