The resting place of Brig. Gen. Richard E. Ellsworth is adorned with flowers on Memorial Day weekend at the Black Hills National Cemetery in South Dakota, May 29, 2011. General Ellsworth and his crew of 23 lost their lives aboard an RB-36 while returning from a routine exercise in Europe in 1953. President Dwight D.
