Children seemed unable to resist the temptation of an inflatable slide that combined the bounce of a jumpy castle and the speed of the slope during the Ellsworth base picnic Aug. 20. This annual family-friendly event was sponsored primarily by local businesses as a way to say thank you to active-duty Airmen, retirees, Department of Defense civilians and families for their hard work, dedication and sacrifices.
