B-1B Lancers, like this one flying an Operation Enduring Freedom mission, provide close-air support for coalition troops in contact with enemy forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. The B-1B can carry the most firepower of any U.S. Air Force aircraft and can carry multiple varieties of multiple weapons on the same airplane.
