The former President Gerald R. Ford motorcade advances along Highway 74 Dec. 29 en route to St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in Palm Desert, California, for the private family prayer service. More than 500 military members are in Palm Desert supporting the California portion of the State Funeral for former President Gerald R. Ford. The military is providing ceremonial, logistics, and security support to honor and pay tribute to the former Commander-in-Chief and the Ford family.
