An Ellsworth B-1 flies over the state capitol grounds during the South Dakota Vietnam War Memorial Dedication Ceremony Sept. 16. The ceremony, attended by more than 32,000 was a tribute to the Vietnam War veterans and their families. Many in attendance expressed their satisfaction of the dedication, "A ceremony like this is way past due for our veterans," said Shary Haag, Rapid City resident and niece of Thurman Blackbird a Vietnam veteran.
