Reunited Pride
(Right to Left) Tech. Sgt. Steven Wilson, 28th Bomb Wing Public Affairs NCO in charge, and Col. Scott Vander Hamm, 28th Bomb Wing commander, and Clayton Bejot, B-17 Flying Fortress pilot from World War ll, survey his "Flak Dodger" jacket during the Dakota Thunder open house and air show here, May 30. Sergeant Wilson, who is also the South Dakota Air and Space Museum director, began searching for Mr. Bejot's whereabouts after finding a picture of the pilot in a book written about this particular B-17. The jacket still contains the artwork depicting all of Mr. Bejot's missions over Europe and the words "Flak Dodger" written on the back. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Corey Hook)
