The Doberman pinscher is one of three breeds now banned from Ellsworth military family housing as of July 26. The other two banned breeds are the Pit Bull and Rottweiler. Owners of these breeds who registered them prior to July 26 will be protected under a grandfather clause; however must now exhibit extra precautions when taking these dogs in public areas.
