Ellsworth Airmen prepare for Red Flag 14-3

Approximately 170 Airmen processed through the Deployment Center at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., July 11, 2014 to start their participation in Red Flag ¬14-3. Red Flag, a realistic combat training exercise involving air, space and cyber forces, is conducted at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. With 1,900 possible targets, realistic threat systems and an opposing enemy force that cannot be replicated anywhere else in the world, Nellis AFB is the home of a simulated battlefield, providing combat air forces with the ability to train to fight together in a peacetime environment.
