Post office boxes dating back to 1955 line the lobby of the Postal Service Center on Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., Aug. 15, 2013. There are over 1,700 boxes in the lobby that have been unused since 1999, when they were replaced by the mail boxes in the dormitory entry ways.
