United Blood Services hosts blood drive

Staff Sgt. Jacob Armstrong, 28th Maintenance Group deficiency analyst, donates blood in the Deployment Center sterile room at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., Jan. 22, 2016. Each volunteer gives a pint of blood, taking five to 10 minutes to donate. During the six hour donation drive on base, United Blood Services personnel successfully collected 44 pints of blood.
