EA-18G Growlers soar in PRTC while training at Ellsworth

A B-1 bomber soars through the sky during suppression of enemy air defenses training at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., July 15, 2016. During SEAD missions, bombers are used offensively to destroy targets while EA-18G Growlers work as a supporting aircraft to deny, degrade or delay the enemies’ ability to acquire and engage friendly air forces and also give bombers access to those targeted areas.
