Metals tech shop makes sparks fly

Senior Airman Kyle Eberhart, an aircraft metals technology journeyman assigned to the 28th Maintenance Squadron, etches out letters with a plasma cutter at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., Oct. 27, 2016. Accurate cuts are not only visually appealing, but also increase the lifespan of parts, ensuring the sustainment of aircraft and the success of the 28th Bomb Wing’s mission.
