Staff Sgt. Michelle Hoyal, an honor guard flight sergeant assigned to the 28th Force Support Squadron, recently received the General Vaught Award for 2016, at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D. The General Vaught Awards were created in honor of Brigadier General Wilma Vaught, a remarkable female general in the United States Air Force, for her outstanding service and dedication to the Air Force and nation both during her career and after her retirement.
