Ellsworth honors the memory of Holocaust survivors

Members of Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., recognized Holocaust Remembrance Week by handing out informational cards, setting up a remembrance hike through the Badlands National Park, and inviting Adam Blackler, an assistant history professor at the Black Hills State University to speak about the event, April 24-28, 2017. Each year, Holocaust Remembrance Week is recognized by local governments, military instillations, workplaces and schools as a way to educate people on the atrocities of the Holocaust.
