Gateway Lake, one of the many lakes located on Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., is home to largemouth bass, blue gill and western pond turtles. To fish at the lake, individuals must have a valid South Dakota fishing license and a base fishing permit. Both of these are available at Outdoor Recreation.
