Each year, Airmen from the 28th Logistics Readiness Squadron vehicle maintenance shop conduct a summer rebuild on all of the base’s snow fleet vehicles at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D. Members from the 28th LRS vehicle maintenance shop are responsible for keeping 52 snow fleet vehicles operational and able to clear snow from the flight line and base roads.
