Tom Bocek Sr., a decontamination education training manager, helps Airmen from the 28th Medical Group identify a simulated Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear threat at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., Sept. 13, 2019. The 28th MDG hosted a decontamination exercise where they demonstrated their ability to administer lifesaving skills by responding to a simulated Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear threat. This included getting into the appropriate gear, setting up a DECON station, recognizing the presence of chemicals on a training dummy, and cleaning all contaminants off the victim.
