Bomber Task Force Makes Quick Deployment to Saudi Arabia

A B-1B Lancer rests on the flight line at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., Oct. 24, 2019. This was one of several B-1s that flew to the U.S. Central Command area of operations to support a Bomber Task Force. The unannounced arrival of the B-1 demonstrates the global strike capacity and ability of the U.S. Air Force and Air Force Global Strike Command to rapidly deploy forward and deliver precision-guided ordnance against any adversary. The Department of Defense maintains command and control of its bomber force for any mission, anywhere in the world, at any time. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Nicolas Z. Erwin)
