Civil Engineer Exercise

A mission oriented protective posture gas mask pouch and helmet is laid out on a table during the Prime Base Engineer Emergency Force Challenge at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., Sept. 22, 2022. The challenge is a physical and mental readiness challenge that tests every engineer’s capability to operate while under extreme stress. The annual challenge was established to imitate the events that engineers can face in deployed and emergency environments. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman Yendi Borjas)
