The 28th Munitions Squadron patch with the Latin phrase ‘strength from above’. A team of 11 Airmen from the 28th MUNS recently brought home the Ellis Giant Sword Trophy for best maintenance group at the 2023 Global Strike Challenge, a feat that required the team to demonstrate time management, proficiency, and attention to detail while transporting and assembling a Munitions Assembly Conveyor, eight Guided Bomb Units, and eight Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile replicas.
