  • Air Force announces second and third B-21 Raider bases

    The SECAF has approved the 2nd & 3rd basing locations for the B-21 Raider, the Air Force’s newest bomber. Those bases are Whiteman AFB, Mo., & Dyess AFB, Texas, in that order. Ellsworth AFB, S.D., was previously selected as the 1st base to receive the B-21.

  • SecAF visits Ellsworth AFB

    Secretary of the Air Force Heather Wilson visited Ellsworth Air Force Base, June 25, 2018. During her visit, Wilson met with Airmen from the 28th Bomb Wing while touring the new 28th Security Force’s Little Defender’s Den and state-of-the-art Cold Spray station inside the 28th Maintenance Squadron.

    In a recent letter to the Total Force, Secretary of the Air Force Heather Wilson, Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David L. Goldfein and Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force Kaleth O. Wright released their new priorities and addressed issues Airmen face day to day.
