The 28th Bomb Wing is working with the Federal Aviation Administration to continue expanding the Powder River Training Complex and informing communities in Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming of flight operations and exercises.

Ellsworth hosted the first Powder River Council meeting to address several aspects of the Powder River Training Complex, Nov. 16, 2016.  More than 30 individuals attended the meeting, representing the Federal Aviation Administration, airports, military bases, and various aviation organizations from all four states that the PRTC affects.
