ELLSWORTH AIR FROCE BASE, S.D. -- Col. Daniel Hoadley has assumed his position as the new vice commander of the 28th Bomb Wing at Ellsworth.
Prior to his current assignment, Hoadley was Air Force Global Strike Command’s B-21 Integration and System Management Office director stationed at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C. Hoadley replaces Col. Eric Hresko who is retiring.
Hoadley received his commission in 2000 after graduating from the United States Air Force Academy. He has served as a pilot of both the B-52 Stratofortress and the B-2 Spirit, earning more than 250 combat hours and 2,500 total flight hours.
Hoadley is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Weapons School and has served in a variety of operational units, including duty as a standardization and evaluation pilot, chief of weapons and tactics, weapons school instructor, and squadron commander.
