    The 28th Medical Group issued a public health advisory regarding the Ebola virus, its background, transmission and prevention, Oct. 6.The Ebola virus was first discovered in 1976 near the Ebola River, which is now the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and is now found in several African countries.
