ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- The 28th Medical Group hosted a decontamination exercise to demonstrate and test their readiness and capabilities to handle a simulated Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear threat in a real-world situation. They were timed and tested on their ability to don their gear, set up a DECON station, set up a water heater to provide warm water to the station and clean all harmful chemicals and materials from a training dummy. They were able to complete their task well under the allotted completion time and earn required certifications pertaining to their career field.
